Welcome to New York City Subway Nude. Depending on how you count, the New York City Subway System has 483 subway stations. This site explores our fascination with this marvel of engineering, moving over five million people a day around the city of New York, and our fascination with putting naked women in unexpected places. Here you will find full public nudity, in the New York City Subway!
This project is not designed to surprise passersby, but rather to juxtapose beautiful naked girls with the steel, the grime, the design, and the art of the New York City Subway System. In most of the pictures the model is completely alone. (The emptiness of these pictures is itself a surprising aspect of them.) If you want to see a fully nude girl in public interacting with onlookers, check out our sister project Nude in San Francisco. We do public nudity like no one else. But this project is different, depicting the girl herself, nude, in harsh but unexpectedly empty urban settings.
